Biography
Mariah Glinski is an associate attorney in Burns and Hansen’s family law and appellate departments.
Before joining Burns & Hansen, Mariah worked as a law clerk for Judge Diane Bratvold at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Under Judge Bratvold’s guidance, Mariah developed strong legal writing and research skills as well as a strong understanding of appellate issues and the appellate decision-making process.
Mariah brings these writing skills to her family law and appellate cases and strives to produce excellent legal writing for her clients. She focuses on organization and clarity in her work to create legal writing that is thorough and direct.
Family law involves issues that are complex both legally and personally. Mariah understands this complexity and takes time to listen to her clients and understand their concerns. She strives to provide her clients with straightforward, candid, and thoughtful advice.
Mariah received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas in 2023. During law school, Mariah competed as a member of the trial advocacy team and served as a senior editor for the University of St. Thomas Law Journal. Mariah also worked as a writing fellow and a certified student attorney for the Child Support Enforcement division of a county attorney’s office
Mariah lives with her husband and rescue dog in the south metro. In addition to her practice, Mariah volunteers as a judge and coach for high school mock trial. Mariah enjoys film, live music, and reading.
